Meeting other members and your safety

The following are some common sense guidelines on actually meeting people you've found on this website—

  • Only arrange to meet after having first communicated on-line long enough for you feel comfortable meeting in real life;
  • Remember the person you are meeting is still a stranger;
  • Tell someone close to you who you are meeting and where you are going;
  • Consider taking someone along with you;
  • Take a mobile phone with you;
  • Meet in a public place.
  • If you are younger than 18 years old you must ALWAYS make sure an adult accompanies you.

Please remember in life there are always impostors and charlatans amongst us and the internet is no different so take these precautions seriously.

WhosYourNeighbour has been set up to enable local people to interact on the web and then possibly meet up in order to carry out activities and form friendships. By providing this site for your use we are acting as a broker between different individuals or groups, but we are in no way responsible for what happens if you do decide to meet someone.
